Met in 2021, the two bonded over their love for Hunger Games. This grew to becoming the super powered book besties they are today.
The Book Club
In August of 2024, they started a book club together on the app Fable. What began as a reading journey for Leigh to start the SJM universe turned into a 500 participant book club! Now, the club focuses on Fantasy and Dystopian reads.
Mystic Scales & Fae Tales
Inspired by their book club, the idea sparked for the Mystic Scales & Fae Tales Podcast. Started in January 2025, the first episode had to be about their first love- The Hunger Games. Currently, the books reviewed in the podcast align with what is being read in the book club!
